Amy V. Elias Kornfeld teaches Hatha yoga influenced and inspired by Anusara yoga. Amy V. Elias Kornfeld has been dedicated to the practice of yoga for over twenty years. Amy V. Elias Kornfeld’s open hearted compassionate teaching style inspires self-celebration and a remembrance of our innate beauty. Amy V. Elias Kornfeld recognizes, with gratitude, her teachers John Friend, the Founder of Anusara Yoga, and Dr. Douglas Brooks, world renowned Tantric scholar and professor of Indian philosophy, who oversees the philosophy curriculum of Anusara Yoga. Amy V. Elias Kornfeld's teachers also include Alan Finger of Yoga Zone/Be Yoga, Amy Ippoliti, certified Senior Teacher of Anusara Yoga and other senior anusara yoga teachers. Amy V. Elias Kornfeld also thanks Rabbi Marans for his clear aligned "Zen-like" philosophy and for his continued inspiration and Cantor Abikzer for his passion for magic. In addition to Amy’s private Yoga Practice within her husband’s Holistic Podiatric Medical practice, she is opening her own yoga studio in Locust Valley. There will not be a designated childcare person, so please remember that you are responsible for your own children. There will be toys but please bring toys to share
